Dasean Burnette is a creative up-and-comer. A graphic designer turned artist whose work explores the fusions of illustrations and graphic design, culminating in thoughtful thematic expressions that cheerfully illustrate the inner emotions of the contemporary black male. Graduating with a BA in Visual Arts with a concentration in Media Design from North Carolina A&T State University, followed by working internationally in the fields of waste/renewable energy, apparel, advertising & freelance art directions, led Burnette to seamlessly transition his unique toolbelt of skills to the canvas, currently practicing as an acrylic painter.
Burnette's work has been exhibited publicly within several of North Carolina's Piedmont regions, such as GothamGSO, The African America Atelier, H.C. Taylor Gallery, Irving Park, and Frame Gallery, Cisco, VAE Raleigh & Motorco Parts & Labour (Mural).
On the design front, Dasean has built a solid reputation through his extensive experiences working as an In-House, Agency, and Freelance Graphic designer, Co-working with International brands such as GFL Environments, No Visa, and Puma to more regionally known brands such as Duke University, McKinney Creative Agency, and The Triad City Beat to name a few. Burnette possesses a unique blend of creativity and knowledgeable pragmatism that culminates in artistic problem-solving skills that are well-suited for the complexities of today's modern landscape.
